How much does
Eventoly cost?
Short answer: $49, $59 or $89 per event, paid once. All three plans have the same features. What you pay for is how long guests can keep uploading and how long the album stays online before it expires. Below is every plan, the fine print, and what the same job costs on Knipsmig (free, or $29 once to keep an event forever).

Eventoly pricing: every plan
One-time payment per event. Both clocks start on the event date, not the day you pay.
| Plan | Price | Guests can upload for | Album stays online for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0 | For trying the interface before an event. No card needed. Eventoly does not publish the trial's limits. | |
| Starter | $49 per event (list $69) | 3 months after the event | 6 months after the event |
| Standard Popular | $59 per event (list $89) | 6 months after the event | 1 year after the event |
| Pro | $89 per event (list $129) | 1 year after the event | 2 years after the event |

What the three tiers actually buy
Unlike most competitors, Eventoly does not gate features by plan. Every tier includes the same list; the price is a storage clock.
Included on every paid plan
Unlimited photos and videos in original quality, unlimited guests, live slideshow for a TV, up to 6 sub-albums, audio guestbook, likes and guest names, several admins, upload page themes and custom fonts, Canva QR designs, ZIP download and priority support.
That is a long list, and it is the same list at $49 and at $89.
Starter ($49): the deadline plan
Guests can upload for 3 months after the event date and the album disappears 6 months after it. That is fine for a wedding where everyone uploads on the night.
It is less fine for the aunt who finds her photos in March. Download the ZIP before the 6 months run out or the album is gone.
Standard ($59): another $10 for another year
Six months of uploads and a full year online. Eventoly marks this one "Popular", and for a single event it is the sensible pick of the three.
Two events in a year still cost $118, because every plan is per event.
Pro ($89): two years, then the same ending
A year of uploads and two years of storage. Useful for a memorial page or a company that wants the album around for a while.
It is still not permanent. Two years after the event, the album expires like the others.
The same job on Knipsmig
Guests scan a QR code, upload from the browser, everything lands in one gallery with a live slideshow. That core is free on Knipsmig; the money question only comes up if you want to keep the album.
Unlimited uploads, free, no upload deadline
Unlimited photos and videos up to 1 GB each, from unlimited guests. While the event is online, guests can keep uploading; there is no separate upload window that closes before the storage does.
Live slideshow and photo booth
The slideshow for a TV or projector is on the free plan. So is the iPad photo booth mode, which Eventoly does not offer at any price.
Co-hosts, moderation and guest names
Add co-hosts, approve uploads before they show, delete anything instantly, and ask guests for their name. Free.
ZIP download with duplicates removed
One click downloads everything in full resolution, and duplicate shots are weeded out on the way.
Pricing that ends, and storage that doesn't
Free events stay online for 1 month, long enough to download everything. $29 once keeps one event forever, with the voice guestbook, photobook and magazine unlocked. $89 once covers every event you ever create, forever. Eventoly's most expensive plan expires after 2 years.
Where Eventoly wins. Sub-albums, custom fonts on the upload page, and ready-made Canva templates for the QR sign. Knipsmig has one album per event, color themes rather than fonts, and a styled QR designer rather than Canva files. If you want the ceremony and the reception in separate folders inside one QR code, Eventoly does that and Knipsmig does not. If you want the whole thing free, or kept forever for less than one Eventoly Starter plan, it is the other way round.
What it adds up to
Per-event pricing looks small until the second event.
| Scenario | Knipsmig | Eventoly |
|---|---|---|
| One wedding, download the photos within a month | $0 | $49 (Starter) |
| One wedding, keep the album online forever | $29 | Not offered (max 2 years, $89) |
| Wedding + 40th birthday + christening, all kept forever | $89 (lifetime) | $177 to $267, each expiring |
| A company running 6 events a year | $89 once | $354 to $534 per year |
Eventoly figures use Standard for the cheapest case and Pro for the most expensive. The $89 Knipsmig lifetime upgrade covers every event on the account.

Eventoly pricing FAQs
How much does Eventoly cost?
Eventoly sells three one-time plans per event: Starter at $49, Standard at $59 and Pro at $89. Every plan has the same features; the price buys a longer upload window and longer storage. There is a free trial but no free plan for a real event.
What is the difference between Starter, Standard and Pro?
Only time. Starter lets guests upload for 3 months after the event date and stores everything for 6 months. Standard extends that to 6 months of uploads and 1 year of storage. Pro gives 1 year of uploads and 2 years of storage. Live slideshow, sub-albums, custom fonts, audio guestbook and ZIP download are included on all three.
Is Eventoly free?
Not for a real event. Eventoly offers a free trial without a credit card so you can try the interface, and a refund if you buy a plan and never use it. Running an actual event costs $49 or more.
What happens to the photos when the storage period ends?
The storage clock starts on the event date, not the purchase date. On Starter the album is gone 6 months after the event unless you downloaded the ZIP first. Pro keeps it for 2 years. No plan keeps photos permanently.
How does Knipsmig's pricing compare?
Knipsmig is free with unlimited photos, videos and guests, and the live slideshow is included; events stay online for 1 month. Keeping one event forever is a one-time $29, and a one-time $89 covers every event you ever create, forever. There are no per-event fees.
Do Eventoly prices change?
Yes. The prices on this page are what Eventoly published in September 2026, shown as discounts from $69, $89 and $129 list prices. Confirm on Eventoly's own site before you buy.
