What each Kululu tier actually gets you

Free: a 24-hour trial, effectively

50 uploads sounds workable until you remember a single wedding table produces that in an hour. The event is only active for 24 hours and photos disappear after 7 days.

Good for testing the interface — not for running a real event.

Plus ($39): the "hope it fits" tier

500 uploads and 3 months of storage covers a small event. But guests upload more than you expect — if you cross 500, you're looking at Pro.

And the $39 is per event: two events, $78.

Pro ($99): unlimited, for a year

Unlimited uploads and 1-year storage removes the counting anxiety. It's the tier most bigger events realistically need.

After the year, the storage clock still runs out — it's not forever.

Business ($99–$249/month): for agencies

The $99/month base covers commercial use, $149/month adds watermarking and your own logo, and $249/month adds welcome forms and lead generation.

Sensible if you run events for clients every month. Overkill — at $1,188 to $2,988 a year — if you host a few events of your own.

The same job on Knipsmig

The core of what you're paying Kululu for — guest uploads via QR code into one shared gallery — is what Knipsmig does for free.

Unlimited uploads, free

No 50-photo cap, no 500-photo tier. Unlimited photos and videos from unlimited guests on the free plan — the thing Kululu charges $99 for.

QR code sharing, styled if you like

Guests scan and upload in the browser — no app, no account. The styled QR designer lets you match the code to your event's look.

Live slideshow for big screens

Put the gallery on a TV or projector and photos appear as guests upload them.

Host approval and co-hosts

Pre-moderate uploads before they're visible, delete anything instantly, and add co-hosts to share the work.

One-click ZIP download & duplicate detection

Download everything in full resolution in one click, with duplicates weeded out along the way.

Pricing that ends

Free events stay online 1 month. Want longer? $29 once keeps one event forever; $89 once covers every event you ever create, forever. Compare that with Kululu Pro's $99 per event for 1 year of storage — or $2,988/year on the top business plan.

What Knipsmig doesn't do: watermarking, logo placement, welcome forms, and lead generation are Kululu business-tier features with no Knipsmig equivalent. If those are why you're paying $149–$249/month, Kululu (or another business tool) is the right call. If you just need everyone's photos in one gallery, you don't need any of it.

Kululu pricing FAQs

How much does Kululu cost?

Kululu has a free plan limited to 50 uploads, then two per-event plans: Plus at $39 per event (500 uploads, 3-month storage) and Pro at $99 per event (unlimited uploads, 1-year storage). Business plans run $99 to $249 per month.

Is Kululu's free plan enough for a real event?

Rarely. The free plan caps at 50 uploads, keeps the event active for only 24 hours, and stores photos for 7 days. A typical wedding or party generates hundreds of photos, so most hosts end up on Plus or Pro.

What do Kululu's business plans add?

The $99/month base business plan covers business use, the $149/month tier adds watermarking and your own logo, and the $249/month tier adds welcome forms and lead generation. They're aimed at agencies and recurring commercial events.

How does Knipsmig's pricing compare to Kululu's?

Knipsmig is free with unlimited uploads, videos, and guests; events stay online for 1 month. Keeping one event forever is a one-time $29, and a one-time $89 covers every event you ever create, forever. There are no subscriptions.
