Joining

Anyone with a Knipsmig account can join, and there is no approval queue. Your link works the moment you sign up.

I may suspend a partner whose link turns up in spam, in paid search ads on the Knipsmig name, or next to claims about Knipsmig that are not true. I may also close the program with 30 days' notice. In both cases, commissions that were already approved are still paid.

Attribution

A visitor who opens any page on knipsmig.com through your link is attributed to you for 60 days by a cookie in their browser. If they later come back through Google, the attribution still holds.

• The most recent partner link wins if a visitor has clicked more than one
• Attribution does not survive the visitor clearing cookies or switching devices
• Your dashboard counts a click once per new attribution, not per page view

Commission

You earn a commission on the amount, excluding tax, of the first Keepsake, Unlimited or Photo booth purchase made by an attributed customer. The rate is 30% unless a different rate is agreed with you in writing. The rate that applies to you is shown in your dashboard.

The following pay no commission:

• Printed photobooks and magazines, guest downloads and chip-in contributions, because print and processing costs leave no margin to share
• A customer's second and later purchases
• Purchases on your own account, or on accounts you control

Approval and refunds

A commission is pending for 30 days after the sale and approved after that, provided the purchase was not refunded. A refunded purchase cancels its commission.

If a refund happens after a commission was already paid out, the amount is deducted from your next statement.

Statements and payment

Once your approved balance reaches $50, I issue a statement covering the approved commissions and pay it within 14 days. Amounts are in US dollars.

• Payment goes by Wise, bank transfer or PayPal to the details in your dashboard, or as Knipsmig credit if you chose that
• Fees charged by the receiving bank or PayPal are yours
• Statements stay available as PDFs in your dashboard

Self-billing

You agree that Knipsmig issues each statement as a self-billed document on your behalf. It serves as your invoice to Commanigy for the commission, so you do not need to send one yourself.

If you are a VAT-registered business in the EU, the statement is issued under the reverse charge and you account for VAT in your own country. If you are not VAT-registered, no VAT is added.

You are responsible for declaring commission income where you are taxable.

What you may and may not say

You may describe Knipsmig in your own words, with your own screenshots, and say that you earn a commission. You may not:

• Present yourself as Knipsmig or as speaking for it
• Promise features, prices or storage periods that do not exist
• Run search ads on "Knipsmig" or misspellings of it

Data

Your dashboard shows referred purchases by date, product and amount, never the customer's name or email.

Your own details are stored to run the program and issue statements, and are covered by the Knipsmig privacy policy.
