What you agree to when using Knipsmig — kept simple on purpose
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Knipsmig, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
User Content
You are responsible for the photos and content you upload to Knipsmig. You retain ownership of your content, but grant Knipsmig a license to use, store, and display it as necessary to provide the service.
You agree not to upload content that:
- Violates any laws or regulations
- Infringes on the rights of others
- Contains harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material
- Is intended to harass, harm, or intimidate others
Knipsmig does not pre-screen, monitor, or actively review user-uploaded content. We are not responsible for the nature, legality, or appropriateness of any photos or videos uploaded by users. Event owners are responsible for moderating content within their events.
Data Storage & Retention
You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups of any photos or videos you upload. While we strive to provide reliable service, Knipsmig is not a permanent storage solution and should not be treated as your only copy of important media.
Free events are subject to automatic deletion after a retention period. We will attempt to notify you before deletion, but we cannot guarantee delivery of these notifications and are not liable if you miss them.
We strongly recommend downloading your photos before the retention period expires. Knipsmig shall not be held responsible for any photos or videos lost due to:
- Automatic deletion after the retention period
- Technical failures, server issues, or service interruptions
- Account issues or access problems
- Any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Disclaimer
The service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Knipsmig excludes all representations, warranties, conditions and terms whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise.
We make no guarantees regarding the availability, reliability, or permanence of your stored content. Use of this service is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Knipsmig, its owners, operators, or suppliers be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to:
- Loss of photos, videos, or any other uploaded content
- Loss of data, profit, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from content uploaded by other users
- Service interruptions or inability to access the service
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if Knipsmig has been advised of the possibility of such damage.
